Day 13 - Drawings

Hey, guys, so I was getting bored today and I decided to draw some random stuff I have been thinking about. The drawing are when I get bored and want to get on my ipad to play Minecraft but  my mom says no more screen time.

The weapons drawing includes the spear from the visions when I went to the spirit world. General Tran Hung Dao uses a jade spear. Regular soldiers like I used knives in the war. The shaman said he saw the same weapons. The dragon colors also come from my visions. The dragons I saw were green, blue, and gold.

I also made a replica of the Titanic I hope you guys like. Did you know that the Titanic had two other sister ships and one did not stay on the ocean long because it got hit by another ship? The same captain of that sister ship then went on to be the captain of the Titanic. I cannot believe 1,500 died because of an iceberg. It's the captain's fault really, and not enough life boats.


For lunch we had cơm bình dân, which is for normal people or laborers. After lunch on the way home, we were chased by the cutest poodle. It was scary as heck. When I got home I watched Rick and Morty. I ate donuts that really sucked and was super hard. I got so thirsty and drank water that had to be disposed of. I have a stomach ache now. Bebes don't call me stupid I'm calling the name Pepsi  Bebes from Gmod the game. The Pepsi here has a picture of a dragon and Vietnamese words!




Hey, did you know first I had Ms. Chan reading my blogs and commenting. Then my Kumon teacher, Ms. Jackie. Now I have my Vietnamese teacher Ms. Hong commenting. It's kinda crazy. So, remember to comment too so it's not just my teachers :D Oh, and my godparents read my blogs too.

Lastly, YOU BETTER HELP OUT IN THE TOWN  WE MAKE IN MINECRAFT. If you come or I will have you fight the wither with some help called potion of swiftness, golden apples, and potion of strength. When I get back I need some of you guys to come to my house to play Minecraft so we can finish my town. one thing I made a bank and it took two days to make the bank most of the time taken was the flooring NO ONE WANT GRASS FLOORS IN A BANK!!!.

Day Six - A Normal Day in Ha Long Bay

October 16, 2019 Ahoy seagulls, wait, no, you are land dwellers. Har har har. Well yee day was normal and I am going to get back to normal talking instead pirate language. For breakfast we went to some food stalls in an alley way near my school. I had banh bao (steamed bread stuffed with meats and eggs), vegetarian scrambled eggs, cha gio (pork sausage), xoi (sticky rice), and ice tea – all Vietnamese food I love. When my mom went to pay, it all cost only $1.50!! I was surprised that it did not cost a lot at all. Then I had to go to the place where I get tutored. Normally it is for 3 hours or more but now because I get my work done faster, I can leave after 2 hours. Today it rained so I couldn't go swimming. So, my mom went to get me a chess set and paper to draw instead. At the supply store I saw Halloween stuff. My mom was right, they do celebrate Halloween in Vietnam. Heading Back to Ha Long Bay

I am going to Ha Long Bay with my mother. She is a professor that is researching in Vietnam. I will learn about the history of the Bay. I know that there are high levels of pollution there. I saw it last time I went to Ha Long. I will try to learn more about the environment and try to help with clean up. My mother will be working with a Shaman who is a spiritual healer. I sometimes think I have special powers too. For instance, I can sometimes see spirits an channel the dead. Ha Long Bay is a magical place with many spiritual wonders. I can hardly wait to go again. I will go swimming every day if I finish my homework from Ms. Chan. I wish this was a vacation with no homework but it sadly is :( At least I can blog to you dudes and dudettes of the fun I am having. This was a picture of me when I was in Ha Long Bay at 8 years old.

Day Three - The Market

October 13, 2019 The Market  This morning Co  Oanh and Bi came to see us ( wife and son of the Shaman) . We were hungry, so they took us to have  banh cuon  for breakfast, it is  some sort of rice dish with meat. I had it many times before. It was pretty good here, especially cha lua ( fish patty)  that came with it. But, I think it was made of squid instead, cha muc. Then we went to a coffee shop. We were there for a LOOOONG time because my mom ordered filter drip coffee and it takes forever to drip (see pix). I didn't mind because Bi knows a lot of kids in the neighborhood and we hung out playing miniature pool and even crossed the street by ourselves to meet with other kids.  After breakfast we went to the market to get ingredients to make lunch.  The market was crazy because people drove TANKS in there. LOL Okay, just kidding, why would they do that? It is still crazy though, because instead of tanks, they drove mopeds and motorbikes...
