Flight Adventure from San Francisco to Da Nang and First Night

Núi Sơn Trà kTous: When we got to the airport we got on the plane we to the sky it took 18 hours to get to Da Nang when we got to Da Nang we went to the hotel  it was night we got to go to the pool cause we got permission from the owner of the hotel after we swam in the pool we went inside and watch called the Shallows it had a shark witch 9  people trying to save a girl witch was hurt.But they all died. Now its 4:37 AM so right now im i the hotel bloging about this trip i will see you in three months hope you have a good time see you latter alligators.

Emmi: I was on the plane to Viet Nam. We are staing in Da Nang. I am haveing a grate time in Da Nang and swiming every day. It is fun and we are going to stay for 3 months and in a nis hotel. It is so cool and fancy an it is super warm in Da Nang. I am having a good time.

We were met by the owner of the boutique hotel.

We went for a midnight dip in the pool.

Perfect swimming pool size. 
Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Day Three - The Market

October 13, 2019 The Market  This morning Co  Oanh and Bi came to see us ( wife and son of the Shaman) . We were hungry, so they took us to have  banh cuon  for breakfast, it is  some sort of rice dish with meat. I had it many times before. It was pretty good here, especially cha lua ( fish patty)  that came with it. But, I think it was made of squid instead, cha muc. Then we went to a coffee shop. We were there for a LOOOONG time because my mom ordered filter drip coffee and it takes forever to drip (see pix). I didn't mind because Bi knows a lot of kids in the neighborhood and we hung out playing miniature pool and even crossed the street by ourselves to meet with other kids.  After breakfast we went to the market to get ingredients to make lunch.  The market was crazy because people drove TANKS in there. LOL Okay, just kidding, why would they do that? It is still crazy though, because instead of tanks, they drove mopeds and motorbikes...

Day Six - A Normal Day in Ha Long Bay

October 16, 2019 Ahoy seagulls, wait, no, you are land dwellers. Har har har. Well yee day was normal and I am going to get back to normal talking instead pirate language. For breakfast we went to some food stalls in an alley way near my school. I had banh bao (steamed bread stuffed with meats and eggs), vegetarian scrambled eggs, cha gio (pork sausage), xoi (sticky rice), and ice tea – all Vietnamese food I love. When my mom went to pay, it all cost only $1.50!! I was surprised that it did not cost a lot at all. Then I had to go to the place where I get tutored. Normally it is for 3 hours or more but now because I get my work done faster, I can leave after 2 hours. Today it rained so I couldn't go swimming. So, my mom went to get me a chess set and paper to draw instead. At the supply store I saw Halloween stuff. My mom was right, they do celebrate Halloween in Vietnam. Day Five - House Blessing

October 15, 2019 Yo guys, I am back and I had a good sleep without any jetlag. So as you see the title "House Blessing" thats the part where it took eggxactly 3 hours to get to Hanoi to bless a house. Get the joke eggxactly egg--xactly. Blessing a house means getting rid of bad spirits and asking for ancestor spirits to come. The shaman asked what I saw in the house and I said I saw tigers and dragons. Then he asked me to look into a bowl with water and roses. I saw royalty and more dragons, He told me to ride one dragon which I did. One thing you all can know about me that no one else knows except Bronwen, who already knows, is that I have "yin eyes." Plus we both read the book "The Girl With Ghost Eyes." So I have yin eyes which means I can see spirits that are in other realms. Some of them can physically harm but rarely do. But when I close my eyes I can see them much clearer.
